Michael H. Jabro
Michael H. Jabro is an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. This distinctive skill set offers a dual perspective and broader understanding of the legal issues necessary to protect a growing business, and the financial acumen needed to sustain a successful company. Michael’s ability to communicate complex legal and business interactions clearly and concisely is the hallmark of his practice. His easy manner yet no-nonsense style effectively and efficiently manages business and legal solutions for his clients.
Company clients of Jabro Law Group range from start-up enterprises to large multi-owner private corporations. Michael has extensive experience with commercial transactions and entity operations, business law, tax law, estate and business succession planning. His forensic accounting background provides the expertise to investigate and analyze potential fraud claims, discover fraudulent transfers and/or hidden assets, and determine bad faith.
Individual clients are assisted with real estate, family law, and personal injury matters. As an attorney and CPA, Michael can calculate and quantify the amount of money necessary to compensate an injured person for their damages. Determining damages in a personal injury case often involves assigning a precise dollar amount to a subjective injury. Damages such as mental anguish or embarrassment are unique to each Plaintiff. Factors which may determine a damage award include the horridness of an injury, the skill of the attorney, and the sensitivities of the jury. In this regard, Michael’s law/accounting combination sets him apart from other attorneys.
Michael received his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law (2006) and his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of San Diego (2000). Prior to opening his law practice, Michael was an auditor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a multinational corporation offering services in the fields of risk assurance, tax, human resources, transactions, consulting, performance improvement and crisis management (2000-2002).
